Real Estate Closings

Nearly all real estate contracts in Illinois, including the Illinois MLS form contract, provide for the attorney review of your real estate transactions as a buyer.  This includes review of the HUD1 statement, inspections, RESPA, TILA and other necessary disclosures.  As a buyer, you should be represented by an attorney when making real estate transactions.  As a seller, you should be represented by an attorney when making disclosures, negotiating listing and offers, and closing the transaction.

For your family's largest, most precious investment, it will be important to insure the transaction goes smoothly and favorably by hiring competent representation to properly negotiate and draft for all proper contingencies.  Through anticipating problems and creating the solutions with the necessary contractual contingencies, civil litigation can be avoided and the transaction will succeed.
